A friend of mine bought a Sony eReader, and brought it to show me. I immediately found one huge drawback to it. I read fairly quickly, and the Sony's page-turning button moved waaaaay too slowly for me.

So, if you're a speed reader, don't waste your money.

That's interesting, Tony. I haven't seen one up close, but had assumed the page would roll like a computer screen. I saw an add in the paper about the new Kindle 2. Much more streamlined. Maybe they improved the page-turn speed, as well.
