About Me
Hailing from central Ohio, Doug Jenkins, aka D. Allen Jenkins, is a husband of 28 years, a father, a pastor, a speaker, an author, poet, pianist, and songwriter. He has been LIVING with Multiple Sclerosis since 1998.

Doug uses his writing to express the idea that there is hope in the most desperate and difficult of situations.
My Work
Writing seriously since the turn of the century, Doug has been published several times in small poetic journals, and has had several credits as a feature poet on JBStillwater.com and Faithwriters.com.

His prose publishing credit has been his novel, The Making of Tibias Ivory: Freedom's Quest, which has been awarded the Faithwriters' Gold Seal Award for and Outstanding Read, and has been listed as the Book of the Month at www.debrashiveleywelch.net.

His second novel, The Making of Tibias Ivory: Through the Eyes of Innocence, is the sequel to his first and was release October 17, 2009.

Doug, I just received my copy of, "The Making of Tibias Ivory, Through the Eyes of Innocence". I started to read it and it brings back the memories of the first book. I love your writing style. It just grabs me and holds my attention.
