I don't know what iTunes puts out, but some proprietary formats won't wash with WMM. It doesn't really much like mp3 format, matter of fact, but sometimes you can get away with it.
It's better to convert the sound files to WAV
Let me remind you that music from iTunes is commercial, therefore copyrighted. Just because you buy music doesn't mean you own the right to use it in your own projects, and a book trailer is by definition a commercial use.
You should figure out other sources for music, is my suggestion. Hate to tell you, but your best bet is to buy my manual for six bucks. A couple of users have told me they utilized mostly the Soundtrack sections and it was worth it just for that.
