Jo, Thank you so much for adding me to your friends list. Good luck with FOR LOVE OF TEDDY. I think that reaching out to young people through fiction is a wonderful and effective use of your talent. WE who write should all do it more.

LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF

Many of you probably know me already from other networks. I thoroughly enjoy networking and meeting new friends. Networking is an excellent way to help each other and that's what it's all about.

I post items to help other writers on my website - http://www.freewebs.com/thedesertwriter - including all kinds of articles about promoting your books, news from other writers, fun things to do. I recently added a page for guest columnists where I post informative articles from people in the writing, publishing and promotion business to help all writers.

I have also recently published the biggest little eBook you will ever read - Market Your Book Profitably. This eBook is crammed full of marketing notes I've collected over the years - ideas that helped me publish and market two novels, three eBooks, countless articles, etc. I kid you not, you're bound to find many ideas in this eBook to help you market your writing.

I invite you to check out my website and let me know if I can post any news from and about you. I'll look forward to hearing from you.

The Road a Poem by Jo Fulkerson

There was a long, winding road
That stretched far ahead.
Blistered and cracked,
Deeply rutted;
On and on it seemed to go.

We couldn't wait to travel down
That long winding road.
Rushing, running,
Stirring the dust
Into clouds that darkened our way.

Seemed like it went on forever then,
But if we stop right now,
Turn around,
Look back,
It was only a short little pathway
From the childhood of yesterday.

Hi, Jo. I just noticed a couple of typos. I don't recall what they were right now, but I'm sure you'll find them when you read through your site. I have the same problem on my site. I write in Word, then paste into my site, and sometimes things don't "translate" properly.
