Biography:
Susan Whitfield is a native of North Carolina, where she sets her Logan Hunter Mysteries. Genesis Beach is set along the Crystal Coast, Just North of Luck, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Hell Swamp along Black River in Pender County. She is currently working on Gator Creek, set in Wilmington. Whitfield has three degrees from East Carolina University: B.S. in English, MAEd in Education, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership. She is married with two sons and has a very spoiled Yellow Lab who keeps her sane.
